Washington Brewers Festival – The List of Beers & More

At this year’s Washington Brewers Festival, 70+ breweries will pour 250+ different beers. We now have the list of beers that the breweries plan to pour at next weekend’s event. Of course these kinds of lists are a bit flexible. Breweries have been known to bring beer not on the list. Usually, these are in addition to what is on the list. See our previous posts about the event.

Be advised that I talked with the Washington Beer Commission today and they inform me that ticket sales have been very brisk. Especially for Saturday. If you plan to go on Saturday, buy your tickets NOW. Online ticket sales will end on Sunday night or Monday morning. There are reasons why you want to buy your ticket in advance.

If you have a ticket in hand, you will not have to wait in line. If the event reaches capacity, which seems likely, those people not holding tickets will have to wait in line for people to leave the festival. If you show up without a ticket on Saturday afternoon at 3:00, don’t say I didn’t warn you. If you plan to go, there’s no reason not to buy a ticket in advance. Again, advance ticket sales are nearing a close. Buy your tickets now!

Worried about paying the $2.50 service charge to buy tickets online? Remember, advance tickets are $20 ($22.50 w/ service charge). Tickets at the door cost $25.

Lodging: It seems a lot of people are planning to spend the night at nearby hotels. At last check, the Redmond Inn still has rooms. If you want to book a room at the Hyatt House Redmond or the Redmond Marriott Town Center, my best advice is to use Expedia.com. If you call either hotel, or try to book directly online, they’ll tell you that there are no rooms available. At last check,  both hotels still show rooms available through Expedia. Go figure.

Remember to stop by the Washington Beer Blog  booth and say hello. We’ll be located just outside the kid’s play area–the northwest corner of the festival grounds.
