The WBB staff (ok, it’s Kendall’s wife Kim), just spent a couple hours updating our calendar of events. It took so long because the Seattle Beer Week guys have been going frickin crazy adding events. It will be hard to keep up with them, I think, but we have all their events loaded on our calendar now and it’s pretty impressive. Suffice it to say that if any Seattle beer lovers are thinking about going out of town from May 7 – 17, THINK AGAIN, there will be no where else more perfect in the universe that week than Seattle. As a matter of fact, if you have beer-loving friends from out of town, let them know to make their vacation plans to come for a visit. It’s going to be that good.
A sampling of my favorite events – a Fish Brewers dinner at Circa (West Seattle); a Pike and Left Hand brewers dinner at Latona; the Firkin Throwdown at Elysian Capitol Hill. And as a Mariner’s fan, I particularly love the Seattle beer day at Elysian Fields before the M’s v. Red Sox game.
