We’re giving away a night of pampered luxury

We are now just one week away from the Washington Brewers Festival. The Washington Beer Blog will be there all weekend. We invite you to stop by our booth to say hello, get advice, share information, and sign up for your chance to win a fantastic prize package. We will be located at the end of craft vendor’s row, near the entrance to the picnic area.

To say thank you to all of our readers we are giving away a night of pampered luxury, exquisite dining and delicious beer: a one night stay at the Heathman Hotel in downtown Kirkland, including dinner for two at Trellis restaurant (details below). Simply stop by our booth for your chance to win.

If you are a regular reader of this blog you do not need me to give you details about the Washington Brewers Festival. Suffice it to say that the three-day celebration of Washington beer at Saint Edwards State Park features 200+ beers from 60+ breweries. The Heathman is a luxury boutique hotel located in downtown Kirkland in the heart of the arts and shopping district, two blocks from Marina Park and the Lake Washington waterfront. The hotel is elegant and modern, with state of the art amenities. The list of amenities is extensive. For example, as a guest of the hotel you are even entitled to two complimentary tickets for a Lake Washington Argosy Cruise (April – October).

Located in the Heathman Hotel, Trellis creates a true “farm to table” dining experience in an elegant but relaxed atmosphere. The patio seating is suitable for year-round drinking and dining. Chef Brian Scheehser fuses modern cooking techniques with local flavors and a rustic cooking style using hand-picked herbs and vegetables from his own 10-acre sustainable farm in Woodinville.

Trellis offers eight, rotating and carefully selected craft beers on tap and many more in bottles. In the opinion of the Washington Beer Blog, it is one of Kirkland’s very best craft beer destinations.

If you are looking for a place to stay next weekend for the festival, consider the Heathman Hotel. It is located just 9 miles from Saint Edward State Park in downtown Kirkland.
