Annie, the Brew Mama at Chuckanut Brewery and Kitchen, dropped us a note to tell us how things are going and to share with us the current beer line up.
“We are constantly changing up our beers,” she tells us. “We are changing up our beers so frequently, it seems like almost every day I am emailing our Web designer with another new beer on tap!”
Chuckanut Brewery and Kitchen opened a few months back in Bellingham. It is a new brewery with an old soul. It is run by Will and Mari Kemper. Yes, the same Kempers who made Thomas Kemper beers back before Pyramid transformed TK into a purely soda pop brand. Will Kemper is a seriously skilled brew master, and he’s got his team up in Bellingham working in a state-of-the-art brewhouse to produce some divine beers.
We’ve found Chuckanut beers as far south as Naked City Taphouse in Seattle. You can certainly find it in Bellingham, especially at the brewery. While there, make sure you try the matzo ball soup or the yam fries.
