What’s Happening on New Years Eve

Note that the following list is presented in no particular order. This is just the order in which we received the information.

Optimism Brewing (Seattle)

According to Optimism Brewing, New Year’s Eve is the optimists’ holiday–a day of the year when we pledge to make the next year even better than the last, resolving to improve ourselves and our world.  That why they’re having a New Years Eve party. They’ll count down, I mean “count up,” the hour in all U.S. time zones, have a photo booth and more. Read more here.

Resonate Brewery and Pizzeria  (Bellevue/Newport Hills)

In addition to their own stuff, Resonate Brewing will tapping into a couple of exceptional guest beers.

The 2015 Reserve Series of The Abyss from Deschutes Brewery and Wild Black Currant from Engine House No. 9. Also, the chef will cook up some special pizza. Read more here.

Thirsty Hop (Kirkland)

1920’s Prohibition Theme Costume Party & Thirsty Hop’s First Birthday Celebration. Costumes are encouraged, but not required – think Al Capone or Gilda Gray. They’ll have a costume contest and winners will receive prizes. Light bites provided, champagne at midnight.  Reservations required. Read more here.

Pike Brewing (Seattle)

The evening includes special menu items, created just for the night by Executive Chef, Gary Marx and a complementary toast at midnight to welcome the release of 2015 Pike Old Bawdy Barley Wine. Salish Sea Brewing (Edmonds)

They’ll stay open late at Salish Sea Brewing for the ringing in of the New Year. Champagne or beer toast at midnight.

Parkway Tavern (Tacoma)

They’re having a big Dogfish Head party, with a whole bunch of Dogfish beers. Complete details here.

Naked City Brewery and Taphouse (Seattle)

They’ll debut their new lager on New Years Eve. Check them out on Facebook.

Mollusk (Seattle)

For New Year’s Eve, they’ll dish up a four-course meal paired with beers. $80/person with a $25/person deposit. Reservations and deposits can be made on open table. Seatings are between 5:30 and 8:00. Please include dietary restrictions. Read more here.

Gig Harbor Brewing (Tacoma)

Gig Harbor Brewing will open early on New Years Eve, at 2:00 PM. Offering $4 pints, $4 Three-Beer Sample Trays, Free Peanuts & Snacks. Outside food and kids are welcome.
