Win a Snow Day Getaway with Dru Bru

When epic amounts of snow began to fall at Snoqualmie Pass last month, did anyone else think about Dru Bru and smile? The self-described destination brewery opened last year at the beginning of one of the worst ski seasons in Washington history. It was horribly unfortunate for a brewery located near the slopes. Actually, at the slopes. That’s all behind us and this year there is plenty of snow in them thar hills.

To celebrate, Dru Bru has teamed up with Uber, Lib Tech Snowboards, and The Summit at Snoqualmie to offer a very special giveaway package. Not just a giveaway, but more of a getaway. Want to hit the slopes this Friday? Read on.

Dru Bru is giving away a snow day getaway package that includes transportation from Seattle to the pass, a VIP brewery tour, a new Lib Tech snowboard, a chance to ride with Lib Tech pro riders, and a day pass at The Summit at Snoqualmie. Details about the contest are below.

“One of the best surprises of childhood is the announcement of a snow day, the perfect mix of anticipation and joy,” says Dru Bru. “It’s a change of plans that sparks a universal change of attitude as neighborhoods fill with armies of little smiles and rosy red cheeks. As we grow older those opportunities melt away but the feeling never leaves.”

That’s why Dru Bru and friends are offering “an experience designed to transport us back to our childhood and turn a normal workday into an unforgettable snow day.”

Details from Dru Bru:

On Friday, January 15th Uber, Lib Tech Snowboards, Dru Bru, and the Summit at Snoqualmie are going to stage an #OfficeRescue for 10 lucky winners in Seattle.

Winners will be whisked from their workplace on Friday morning (with help from the official #OfficeRescue St. Bernard) and taken to Snoqualmie Pass for an unforgettable day of snowboarding that includes:

  • A free snowboard from Lib Tech
  • Runs with Lib Tech pro riders
  • A Snoqualmie day pass
  • Transportation from Uber
  • A VIP brewery tour

All 21 and older participants are eligible to win – just pack your bags, enter the promo code and then open the Uber app Thursday, January 14th at noon while at work and request the #OfficeRescue van. Five winners will be chosen and be picked up at work Friday morning as the van patrols the streets of downtown. And if you post your favorite snowboarding photo and tag a coworker or friend that works downtown, we’ll take them up too if you win. Just use the hashtag #OfficeRescue before Thursday!

The #OfficeRescue St. Bernard will greet all winners and rescue them from their office to take them to the Summit at Snoqualmie.

Winners won’t need to bring their snowboards as Lib Tech pro riders Brandon Reis, Ted Borland, Jesse Burtner, Phil Hansen, and Mikey Swearingen will be outfitting each winner with boards from the Lib Tech demo truck to ride for the day.

So pack that bag and get ready for the best workday snowday ever.

In partnership with Uber, Lib Tech Snowboards, Dru Bru, Summit at Snoqualmie, and POSSIBLE.
