Winter Beer Festival winners announced

Last weekend in Seattle, the Washington Beer Commission hosted the Winter Beer Festival at Magnuson Park. The event attracted a lot of great beer, crowds of fun-loving imbibers, and enough really ugly sweaters to fill three Goodwill thrift stores. The event serves as a benefit for the Washington Brewers Guild, a not-for-profit trade organization that fosters a sense of comradery and unity among the state’s breweries.

Each year, festivalgoers are invited to vote for their favorite beer and the best-decorated booth. Here are the winners of the people’s choice awards for all three sessions at Winter Beer Fest 2017. Congrats to all the winners, but especially to Mollusk Brewing and Icicle Brewing for placing in the top three at two different sessions.
