We’re pretty darned excited about this one, for sure. Skip Madsen (aka “the Wookie”) will be releasing a new beer this Thursday at Pillagers Pub in Seattle. Brewed in collaboration with Baron Brewing, Breakaway IPA is sure to be a hoppy delight. Skip has a beautiful and wholly unnatural obsession with hops. We like that.
The first-ever keg of Breakaway IPA -dry hopped and cask conditioned- will be tapped at 6:00 PM. A draft version of Breakaway IPA will also be available, along with the regular line up of Baron’s/Pillager’s tasty lagers and ales.
We’ve been waiting for Skip to pop back onscreen since his departure from Water Street. There have been rumors, but now there is something tangible to report. So come on out to Pillagers Pub this Thursday and enjoy a tasty brew, handcrafted by one of Washington’s brewing legends.
Skip, a hockey goalie at heart, has requested that you wear your hockey regalia to help him celebrate the unveiling of his latest creation. That is, if you actually have hockey regalia to wear.
