Yulefest

This comes to  us from Karen at the Nordic Heritage Museum in Ballard:

Special Event: Pre-Yulefest Nordic Beer Tasting
Sample the Museum’s own Yulefest beers!
Friday, November 21, 2008: 7pm to 8:30pm
Nordic Heritage Museum, 3014 NW 67th Street, Seattle, WA 98117

Please join us to sample the Nordic Heritage Museum’s own brews made by brewmaster Ed Egerdahl for Yulefest. Yulefest, the Museum’s acclaimed holiday festival, will take place on Saturday and Sunday, November 22 and 23 and we’ve brewed our very own beers for the occasion! We are offering you a special sneak preview of these holiday libations next Friday evening at a unique beer tasting here at the Museum. Egerdahl has created three original Nordic-inspired beers for us that will be served in the Bodega during Yulefest! Specially brewed at Gallaghers in Edmonds, come and try our own Pillager’s Pilsner, Yuletide Amber and Midnight Sun and let the Yuletide flow! For reservations please call Sharmon Cooper at (206) 789-5707 x10. Must be 21 years of age. Tickets: $15

Volunteer Opportunities at Yulefest!
There are a number of volunteer shifts open for Yulefest. We are still in need of runners (teenagers are great at this), food servers, and sandwich and aebelskiver makers. This is a great event to have fun, learn new skills and make new friends. Please call Cristy Lake at (206) 789-5707 x12 to sign up!
