Zeeks Pizza hops aboard the blog

Even in a beer-loving city like Seattle, most pizza places think of beer as an afterthought. Maybe one craft tap along side a pair of swill taps. Zeeks Pizza, with a dozen location around Seattle, takes beer a bit more seriously. This is especially true at the Queen Anne location, where the draft beer list looks more like something you’d see at one of the city’s better beer bars.

You’ve probably heard the saying, “Life is too short for crappy beer.” Well, Zeeks Pizza was founded in 1993 on the same kind of principle: life is too short for crappy pizza. Today we are happy to welcome Zeeks aboard as a blog sponsor.

Not long ago, we did a post about Zeeks Pizza teaming up with Reuben’s Brews to create a special beer, Hop Tropic, a refreshing pale ale with a hop profile that makes most IPAs blush. The beer, available exclusively at Zeeks, just won a silver medal at the 2015 North American Beer Award.

Welcome aboard, Zeeks, and thank you for helping support this blog and the local beer scene.
